Ancestral Healing

Along with genetic imprints, certain belief systems and patterns are passed down through generations. It’s very common to see diabetes, anxiety, obesity, high blood pressure, and other medical conditions run in families. We might see people focusing on their monetary inheritance but not their medical inheritance. We very easily accept diseases if either one of our parents has them. Let’s look at obesity as an example. A parent who is obese might have some deep-rooted fears and insecurities that lead him or her to build walls subconsciously in the form of weight. He might have picked up these fears from his overweight parents. Their children, in turn, might pick up the same angst unconsciously and become obese themselves. Thus, forming an obesity ancestral loop. We also see breast cancer running in the family. If your mother, sister, and/or grandmother (first degree relative) have breast cancer, it almost doubles or triples your risk. With genetic influence, these genes also carry belief systems. So, if the daughter processes her underlying belief systems and heals them, then she will eliminate the risks for herself and not pass them on to the next generation. Thus, breaking the cancer generational curse. Dr. Diplakshmi focuses on belief systems that no longer serve us and guides us to break these self-sabotaging patterns. As the famous quote says, “When patterns are broken, new worlds emerge.

Past Life Regression

According to Hindu mythology, we have lived numerous lives, but our soul remains the same. Our Earth is like a school, and we are here to experience emotions. Every birth, we learn and unlearn various life programs(karma). When we are born, we already carry the karma of our past lives. Like in our school life, we need to pass a certain standard to move to the next higher one. Likewise, in real life, we need to balance our karma to move to the next upgraded stage. We will continue to reincarnate until we have balanced all our karma and reached a state of pure love. We have come across many books and movies that have depicted this phenomenon. Some people tend to remember details of their past lives like their names, family details, where they lived and possible causes of death vividly, especially at a young age. As they grow older, these memories might fade away, but they remain in our subconscious minds. Those traumas from previous lives may unknowingly impair their sense of well-being in this life. Dr. Diplakshmi uses hypnosis to recover and heal memories of past lives or incarnations pertaining to a specific issue or an event and brings them to closure. Then she focuses on the event in the current life that triggered the past life and heals it.

Medical Treatment

Our body, mind, and soul work in sync with one another. If there is some disturbance in one part, the other two also get disturbed. Usually, doctors prescribe medicines for a patient’s illness. For example, for someone with a thyroid imbalance, a daily medicine is required to keep their thyroid in check. It’s an illness where medication is mandatory for the rest of their lives. When Dr. Diplakshmi was approached by a person with a thyroid imbalance, she started working on the person’s subconscious mind while continuing the daily medication. She also examined her blood reports regularly to monitor changes. Once the subconscious events that had triggered the imbalance in the first place had been healed, and blood reports reflected the healing, the patient was asked to stop her intake of medicine completely. As the mind healed, the body followed through. The person has been off medications for more than a year following her sessions. The doctor also had a patient with psoriasis, which is a long-lasting or lifelong auto-immune disease that causes a rash with itchy and scaly patches on the body. Medicines can control this disease but not cure it. Once the doctor got to the root cause of the patient’s psoriasis trigger, she was able to heal the patient. The patient’s skin went back to normal, literally a day post-session, and hasn’t bothered her ever since. For further information, please check out our testimonials page.

Inner Child Healing

As newborn babies, our minds are like sponges. We start absorbing emotions from our surroundings, especially our parents, siblings, and grandparents, and develop our ability to process these emotions. We also pick up belief systems, fears, and judgements from all around us as we grow older. Indian culture also places a lot of significance on teaching a child about values, customs, culture, and traditions from an early age. Age 0-8 becomes extremely crucial for us as it defines our personality. Furthermore, teaching kids to understand and acknowledge their emotions, especially negative ones, becomes the utmost important skill to be imparted to children as it lays the foundation of a well-balanced adult. For example, if the parent is upset with the child but he sits the child down and talks through a difficult situation and helps him process his emotions, the child will pick up the exact healthy pattern and continue the same as an adult. On the other hand, if a parent expresses his or her displeasure only by screaming and shouting at them, a child will think that is the only way to express his displeasure as a kid and as an adult. The child will freeze his emotions and resources. As he hasn’t learned to express his emotions, he will start acting out and start self-sabotaging subconsciously by failing his exams, throwing tantrums, etc. When a similar situation arises as an adult, like receiving negative feedback from your manager at work, the unhealed inner child takes over, who can’t take the criticism well and self-sabotages his own work. The adult would realize that his behavior isn’t healthy for him, but he is unable to act appropriately. Healing the inner child will help free those emotional patterns and open resources, allowing the adult to take charge!!!

Family Constellation

Every family has its own unique dynamic. Along with genetic inheritance like race, color, physical appearance, and medical conditions, we also inherit belief systems and ancestral patterns that are passed down through the generations. Some of these beliefs and patterns might be unhealthy for us, restrict us from prospering in life, and create blocks around us. Once we are aware of these dynamics, we can unlearn patterns that don’t serve us and stop us from becoming our true selves. Family constellation is a therapeutic process designed to guide us through the hidden dynamics of a family and help heal the issues or strains impacting the relationship between the family members. To give an example, a family is like a jigsaw puzzle. Every piece is unique and needs to be assembled correctly to form a complete picture. Even if a single piece is lost or is interlocked at an incorrect position, the puzzle remains incomplete. Similarly, every member of a family, parents, grandparents, children, etc., holds a unique position in the family matrix. Even if a single member of a family is unhappy, troubled, and not at peace with themselves or other members of the family, the entire family dynamics get disturbed. We may or may not understand this consciously. Family constellations are an insightful way to be aware of these hidden dynamics. Dr. Diplakshmi integrates several healing modalities under spiritual guidance to facilitate these family constellations where she diagnoses the subconscious frictions or strains between the family members and makes necessary corrections. She concludes the constellation by enabling the highest and best resolution for all concerned family members, bringing them at peace with themselves and each other. Post-constellation, people start to see shifts in themselves as well as in their relationships with the people around them. They are more at peace with themselves, and this ripples into every aspect of their lives. Participating in a family constellation is an experience of a lifetime. Join us in a constellation to experience this magic!!!

Hypnotherapy

Dr. James Braid introduced the term “Hypnosis” from the Greek word “Hypno” meaning sleep. Hypnotherapy is an age-old healing modality that has been in practice since 6000 B.C. in many cultures across the world. It was considered a form of meditation. Franz Mesmer, a German physician, made modern-day hypnosis popular again in the 18 th century. His technique, called “mesmerism”, was to induce a suggestive mental state through which ailments, frequently of a psychological nature, were alleviated. This approach remains the basis of hypnosis. Hypnosis is a natural state of attentive, focused concentration, i.e., trance. Trance is a state where we go from the conscious to the subconscious plane. It occurs naturally and spontaneously in every person in daily life. Depending upon what we see and feel, we are automatically transported to that event. If an event is a good memory, it brings us joy. But, if the event has been traumatic, it makes us uncomfortable. For example, when we see a certain food, we immediately remember all the experiences we have had while having that food. On the flip side, if a person has had a traumatic experience like almost drowning, every water body would bring out that memory and he/she might avoid going into the water altogether. Dr. Diplakshmi, a licensed mental health professional, practices hypnotherapy that uses trance for therapeutic purposes to access and heal those traumatic events.
